Minimum two years paediatric experience, Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate, Completion of Registered Nurses Association of Ontario breastfeeding e-learning online course, Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, BCLS required, Medication administration certificate required for RPNs graduating prior to 2005, Patient assessment course required for RPNs graduating prior to 2005, Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, Demonstrated excellent communication skills, Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills, Demonstrated excellent conflict-resolution skills, Demonstrated excellent decision-making skills, Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, Demonstrated knowledge of patient and family-centred care, Demonstrated experience with patient and family health teaching, Demonstrated leadership skills, Demonstrated facilitation skills, Demonstrated excellent customer service skills, Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, Demonstrated excellent critical-thinking skills, Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, Demonstrated ability to work in a stressful environment, Ability to prioritize patient care needs, Ability to make autonomous decisions, Excellent physical assessment skills, Ability to promote a healthy work environment, Practice excellent client safety guidelines, Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Demonstrate Osler's Values, Excellent attendance, Excellent punctuality, Excellent work record
