Must Have
2 years post-operative in-patient surgery experience, Initiation and maintenance of IV therapy, Administration of medication, Blood and blood product administration, Nasogastric tubes, Chest tubes, Ostomy and wound management, Enteral and parenteral feeding, Current registration with College of Nurses of Ontario, BCLS required, Excellent interpersonal skills, Excellent communication skills, Excellent problem-solving skills, Excellent decision-making skills, Ability to work collaboratively, Patient and family health teaching, Leadership skills, Facilitation skills, Customer service skills, Organizational skills, Critical-thinking skills, Ability to work in stressful environment, Physical assessment skills, Promote healthy work environment, Practice client safety guidelines, Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act

Seniors gentle persuasive approaches training, Experience with seniors' population, Canadian Nurses Association certification
