Associates: Nursing (Required), Registered Nurse (RN) - State Board of Nursing, Experience in a crisis management setting or service during which the individual provided crisis response | 1 Year | Required, Experience with children/youth/adolescents in a Crisis setting | 1 Year | Required
What You'll Do.
Oversee paraprofessionals
Provide direct nursing care
Carry out treatment and supportive care
Assess and document individuals' appropriateness for admission
Educate individuals receiving services
Participate in the development of treatment plans
Monitor individuals for health and safety
Carry out crisis intervention
Carry out medication administration
Carry out assessment of vital signs
Carry out referral for emergency medical treatment
Carry out observation of individual response
Carry out following of detoxification protocols
Carry out nursing assessment
Carry out treatment planning
Carry out crisis and aftercare planning
Carry out submission of authorizations for treatment
Attend and actively participate in meetings
Maintain certification in all agency
state and federal training requirements
Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies
Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures
Assist in crisis situations
Ensure that physician orders are followed
Ensure service definition guidelines are followed
Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned
