What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Current registration, and in good standing, with the College of Nurses of Ontario, BCLS required, Experience within the last five years, with a minimum of two years, in oncology nursing required, Provincial standardized chemotherapy and biotherapy courses required, Experience in chemotherapy administration required, Foundations in Oncology Nursing Practice course required, Foundations of Oncology for Emergency Nurses course required, Knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
Nice to Have
Certified in Oncology Nursing Canada required

Providing quality patient focused nursing care to patients in the oncology clinic
implementation and evaluation of patient care
Responding to emergency situations
Providing health teaching to patients and families
Providing thorough discharge instructions
