What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Current registration, and in good standing, with the College of Nurses of Ontario, BCLS required, Experience within the last five years, with a minimum of two years, in oncology nursing required, Provincial standardized chemotherapy and biotherapy courses required, Foundations in Oncology Nursing Practice course required, Foundations of Oncology for Emergency Nurses course required
Nice to Have
Certified in Oncology Nursing Canada required, Experience in chemotherapy administration required
What You'll Do.
Providing quality patient focused nursing care to patients in the oncology clinic
implementation and evaluation of patient care
Creating a therapeutic relationship and environment
Responding to emergency situations
Providing health teaching to patients and families
Providing thorough discharge instructions
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
As part of the inter-professional health care team, the RN will practice according to the nursing practice expectations set by Osler, the regulatory practice standards of the College of Nurses and the legislative requirements set by the Regulated Health Professions Act.; Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of an inter-professional team; Exemplary clinical practice within an inter-professional team to develop appropriate strategies for patient care

Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, conflict-resolution and decision-making skills required; Demonstrated excellent customer service, organizational and critical-thinking skills required
