Must Have
Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Certification in basic life support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) certification required in certain units, Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN, Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years, Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty, certification required for certain practice areas, Physical ability to meet job responsibilities, Basic computer proficiency
Nice to Have
1+ years of RN experience, BSN (preferred), Fluency in another language a plus
What You'll Do.
Deliver nursing care in the Medical Surgical
Planning patient care
Intervening in patient care
Evaluating patient care
Update and manage patient records
Enter and interpret computerized data/information
Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization
Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
Provide 24/7 clinical excellence for med/surge and IMCU areas
Care for medical and surgical adult and pediatric (over 15) populations
Care for IMCU patient population after specialized classes and training
Care for Patients in the Observation unit
Open and staffing surge units when necessary

Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families; Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
