What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario, Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (C level) Heart Saver Plus (Canada), Computer proficiency required, Ability to demonstrate health assessment skills
Nice to Have
Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred, Experience in Complex Continuing Care rehabilitation preferred, Experience in palliative care preferred, Certification in gerontology or dementia care preferred, Specialty certification preferred (Canadian Nurses Association), Member, Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO), OARN (SIG) preferred

Plan comprehensive nursing care
Manage comprehensive nursing care
Evaluate comprehensive nursing care
Coordinate comprehensive nursing care
Implement care for Complex Continuing Care patients
Educate patients and families
Educate referring facilities
Educate community providers
Participate in inter-professional team care planning
Participate in inter-professional rounds
Participate in family conferences
Provide leadership to students
Provide supervision to students
Provide mentorship to students
Provide leadership to new staff
Provide supervision to new staff
Provide mentorship to new staff
Demonstrate understanding of patient safety
Comply with patient safety responsibilities
Commit to patient safety responsibilities
