Must Have
Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario, Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) certification, Two (2) years recent cardiology experience, Completion of a recognized Critical Care Course, Capable of complying to the physical demands of the unit, Evidence of commitment to team building, Ability to perform multiple concurrent tasks, Previous CICU/ICU experience required
Nice to Have
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (A.C.L.S) certification, B. Sc. N. preferred

Assess patient health systematically
Plan individualized care
Implement care plan strategies
Evaluate patient outcomes
Provide educational guidance to patients
Document patient records
Act as patient advocate
Care for patients with invasive arterial monitoring
Care for patients with hemodynamic monitoring
Care for patients with intra-aortic balloon pumps
Care for patients with continuous veno-venous renal therapy
