What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Current TN or compact state RN license, Minimum one-year RN experience, Current TO approved BLS provider card
Nice to Have
ONS Chemotherapy/therapy card within 6 months of hire, Oncology certification within 2 years of hire, Experience in an outpatient facility
What You'll Do.
Coordinate direct patient care
Collaborate with care providers
Assess/treat disease symptoms
Perform telephone triage
Manage central venous access devices
Administer chemotherapy and other drugs
Document medication administration
Document charges for services
Ensure laboratory specimen collection
Monitor PT/INR results
Manage anticoagulation therapy
Manage prescription refill requests
Assist with provider procedures
Coordinate supportive care
Conduct patient education
Complete patient forms
Screen patients for needs
Provide patient counseling
Make referrals to services
Document patient information in EMR
Complete drug/sample drug inventory counts
Inform Manager of clinic needs
Stock and manage inventory
Generate and review clinical reports
Adhere to practice standards
Travel to other TO clinics
Participate on committees
Assume responsibility for growth
Complete assigned training
Collaborate with SCRI nurses
