Directs and leads other assigned team members, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide age/developmentally appropriate care. Provides patient-centered care addressing physical, emotional, cultural, religious, and environmental needs. Conducts assessments, develops nursing diagnoses, identifies outcomes, plans and implements interventions, provides health teaching, and evaluates care. Ensures a therapeutic environment and participates in professional governance and development. Correctional-specific responsibilities include: • Delivering nursing care to inmates/detainees while following correctional facility safety and security protocols. • Responding promptly to emergencies anywhere within the secure perimeter (medical emergencies, injuries, suicide attempts, etc.). • Managing care in intake/booking, general population, segregation, and medical observation units. • Coordinating with correctional officers for safe inmate movement and maintaining awareness of the security environment. • Maintaining strict control and accountability of sharps, medications, and clinical tools. • Ensuring proper boundaries, communication standards, and compliance with PREA expectations. • Documenting care in accordance with correctional medical record requirements and c
