Patient care for active chronic care unit, including assessments and personal care. ## Qualifications Halton Healthcare endeavors to hire individuals who are competent in their chosen profession and who exemplify our mission, vision and values of accountability, respect and compassion which guide our individual behaviours and attitudes. * Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario * BCLS certification at time of hire * Demonstrated leadership ability. * Multi-patient medication administration. * Ability to work independently. * One year nursing experience in Long Term Care setting. * Caring and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families. * Good team player. * Computer skills/RUGS III data entry an asset. * Evidence of dedication to continuing education. * Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. * Keen desire to work with the elderly. * Satisfactory employment and attendance record. * Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position ## Additional Information Hours: Various rotating 12 hour sh
