What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Current registration with College of Nurses of Ontario, Current Heart & Stroke approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, ACLS Certification required at time of hire and ongoing, 3-5 years Surgical Day Care nursing experience, 3-5 years PACU nursing experience, Critical Care Nursing course and/or PACU course, Administering IV drugs below drip chambers, Central lines, Epidural/ PCA pump, ECG machines, Invasive pressure monitoring, Phlebotomy, Paracentesis, Ambulatory care procedures, Interpret advanced arrhythmias, Patient assessment skills, Excellent decision making skills, Critical thinking skills, Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, Satisfactory employment and attendance record
