Must Have
Graduated from accredited Nursing program, Unrestricted active RN license, Arizona State Board of Nursing license, Mandatory vaccination policy compliance
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, 1 year psychiatric experience, 1 year behavioral health experience, 1 year relevant experience, Previous emergency room experience, Previous crisis psychiatric care experience, Familiarity with Court Ordered Treatment, Experience with addiction management
What You'll Do.
Document pertinent information
Demonstrate knowledge of Crisis Intervention
De-escalate potentially aggressive situations
Provide education to consumers
Complete detailed Nursing Assessments
Record all medication
Plan individual treatment
Provide education concerning diagnosis
Intervene with verbal interventions
Diffuse out of control behaviors
Describe roles and responsibilities
Demonstrate knowledge of Seclusion/Restraint
Initiate documentation for seclusion/restraint
Debrief individuals for seclusion/restraint
Transcribe Provider orders
Administer medications as prescribed
Have individual sign medication consent
Sign off on medications
Complete nurse to nurse report
Perform other duties as assigned
