What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Graduation from a recognized nursing program, Current and active registration with CARNA required, Current and active Basic Life Support Provider CPR is required, Demonstrated leadership skills required
Nice to Have
BScN is preferred, CNA Certification an asset (e.g. Gerontology, Rehabilitation, Hospice and Palliative Nursing), 3 years nursing experience is preferred
What You'll Do.
Completing comprehensive client assessments
Developing and implementing client plans/care that address both physical and psycho-social care needs
Monitoring on-going client care and condition to ensure optimum functioning
Assuming professional accountability for complex/unstable clients
Administering prescribed medications
Supervising the delivery of medications by unregulated staff
Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team
counseling and advocating to enhance health and well being of clients and families
Provision of direct care to clients
