**Job Description** **RN / Registered Nurse / Endoscopy** **Harborview Medical Center – Endoscopy** has an outstanding opportunity for **Registered Nurse**. **WORK SCHEDULE** * 100% FTE (40 hours per week), Day Shift (and some on-call is required). **Primary job responsibilities** Assist in performing EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, and EUSs. • Provide conscious sedation and continuous monitoring for patients receiving endoscopic procedures. • Conduct phase II recovery and evaluate patient readiness for discharge. • Admit patients for procedures, including screening for appropriateness of moderate sedation using hospital-based guidelines. **REQUIREMENTS** Requires minimum two years critical care RN work experience (ED or ICU); or Endoscopy experience. **ABOUT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER** As the region's only Level I Trauma and verified burn center, Harborview Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare facility owned by King County and operated by UW Medicine.
