What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5-10 years senior leadership operational experience, Budgeting and/or financial focused mindset required, Demonstrated success in delivering Safety excellence
Nice to Have
Previous experience in asset management road maintenance / infrastructure preferred, Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or a related field preferred
What You'll Do.
Direct and oversee regionally based Project managers
Manage appropriate staffing levels
Monitor labor costs and overtime
Enforce a positive employee culture
Ensure managers are living up to company standards
Provide leadership and guidance to all employees on
Ensure all Safety processes and procedures are followed
Ensure financial accuracy
Leverage current contracts for additional opportunities
Ensure checks and balances are in place
Serve as the primary customer interface
Conduct customer meetings
Conduct performance reviews
Represent DCSAM in trade events
Represent DCSAM in State DOT events
Represent DCSAM in industry functions
Manage all employee relations
Manage disciplinary actions
Ensure staffing alignment
Ensure workforce planning
Ensure performance management
Provide leadership training for Sr PM’s and PM’s
Provide mentorship for Sr PM’s and PM’s
Participate in all bids for the region
Coordinate bid strategy with the growth team
Coordinate bid strategy with project managers
Lead any new project start-ups
