Full Job Description
Job Summary: This position will be responsible for generating business opportunities with new prospects and existing customers within a defined territory by developing and maintaining long-term relationships. This role requires making successful contact with customers in order to properly position and sell the company’s suite of product and service offerings. The Regional Sales Manager takes on projects and tasks as dictated by the business. Regional coverage: Texas (Excluding Austin & Houston), with a primary focus along the I-35 corridor and West Texas. Duties/Responsibilities - Achieve monthly sales goals, for order quantity and gross profit, by cultivating new and existing accounts. - Maximize daily efficiency by mastering sales, scheduling and communication tools available in proprietary software. - Collaborate with marketing to convey the DWC brand to distribution partners. - Travel to customers to develop and grow relationships. - Create and maintain a strategic travel schedule to fully cover the assigned region and key accounts throughout the year. - Book flights, rental cars, and travel accommodations in a timely, organized, and economic manner. - Create thorough call reports that provide lead generation, market intel, and drive business strategy for assigned region. - Provide reports on vertical and horizontal expansion, new clients and current customer satisfaction measures. - Develop strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within accounts and develop deep knowledge of the client organization. - Develop tactical plans for targeting and growing the market. - Show consistent improvement in sales, sales visits and prospects to clients, new projects and client revenue growth. - Keep abreast of current and future business trends. - Liaison on significant customer issues, when required, to preserve customer relationships. - Leverage current relationships at the local and regional customer level to assist in driving additional revenue. - Monitor
