What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field or applicable outside sales experience, 5+ years outside sales and/or territory sales management in commercial or industrial space with electrical products, Valid driver's license

Nice to Have

Technical sales skills, Value-based selling skills, Commercial and contractor sales knowledge

What You'll Do.

Achieve sales goals for ERICO and ILSCO Commercial

Maintain existing business

Develop multi-year sales strategy & tactical plan

Identify and develop new customers / end users

and develop third-party agent sales team

Ensure understanding and acceptance of territory strategy

Promote a culture of accountability

Set clear expectations and drive ownership of sales

Build and maintain relationships with key customers

Serve as a customer advocate

Share market insights and competitive feedback

Represent nVent at industry events and forums

Provide product expertise through training and technical presentations

Highlight value proposition with key contractors

Provide on-site support

Influence end-user specifications

Proactively promote ERICO and ILSCO products

Emphasize technical advantages

Engage key stakeholders to drive demand

Support agent opportunities and proposals (quotes)

and KPIs to ensure profitability

Analyze sales data to uncover trends and improvement

Partner with Marketing

Align sales initiatives with broader nVent business objectives

Launch and support new products to market /

Utilize CRM Platform (e.g.

Salesforce) to lead opportunity

Communicate feedback internally
