Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or Accounting, 5+ years progressive payroll experience, 3+ years people management role, knowledge of payroll laws and compliance requirements across multiple countries, Demonstrated experience managing teams across diverse cultures and time zones, Proven ability to define, measure, and improve KPIs and SLAs, Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines, High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail

Own end-to-end payroll processing

Provide direct people leadership

and develop Payroll Analysts

and manage KPIs and SLAs

Partner with external payroll vendors

Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations

Support team members in resolving escalated payroll inquiries

Ensure payroll policies

and documentation are current

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations

Oversee and review regular payroll audits

Address audit findings and implement corrective actions

and develop Payroll Analysts

Complete performance evaluations and goal setting

Support career development and succession planning

Promote a culture of empowerment

Manage relationships with payroll vendors

Ensure vendor performance meets contractual SLAs

Oversee regional payroll budgets

Manage purchase order creation and management

About the role The Regional Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing payroll for employees within their assigned region. This role leads and develops Payroll Analysts, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and high-quality employee experience. The Regional Payroll Manager partners closely with HR, Finance, HRIS, Legal, and external vendors, while driving performance through clearly defined KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs).
