Great Place To Work Certified™ Best Workplaces™ in Retail & Hospitality 2025 **Regional Operations Specialist** **Reports to:** Regional Operations Manager, Prairies **Location: Edmonton, AB** We are looking for a Regional Operations Specialist to join our Operations Team in the Prairies. This position reports to the Regional Operations Manager, Prairies and will provide high level of in-bakery operational support, training, guidance, and oversight to deliver improvements in bakery sales, operating profit and standards. Responsibilities include: * Conduct regular bakery visits/assessments to evaluate franchisee compliance with merchandising, customer experience, and product quality and support implementation of changes as necessary * Where appropriate, provide in-bakery training and operational support to address improvement opportunities for increasing bakery sales * Coordinate and implement local marketing initiatives * Implement plans to improve franchise operating profit across portfolio as directed by the Regional Director * Attend in-person production process reviews (e.g., recipe compliance) * Conduct in-bakery reviews of actual production vs. production schedules * Attend Quarterly and Annual Business Reviews as required and contribute to discussions to ensure outputs align with in-bakery actions * Monitor and ensure bakeries meet standard expectations, and implement with franchisees actions * Comply with all relevant OH&S policies * Other projects and tasks as required **Requirements** **What You Bring to the Table:** * A high-energy, positive attitude with the ability to quickly develop trust and meaningful relationships * 1-2 years’ experience in operations, preferably in a franchise retail environment * 2+ years' experience in customer service * 1-2 years’ experience in the food service, hospitality or franchise industry * Baking experience required * Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel frequently and spend time ‘in the field’ rather than be
