Full Job Description

How You Will Make an Impact: The Technician Trainer is responsible for ensuring the proficiency and expertise of our workforce across all operational areas, including fabrication, production, engine rebuild, repair shop, and field service. This role focuses on onboarding, skill development, and ongoing training to enhance technical competencies, safety adherence, and operational efficiency. The Technician Trainer will work closely with employees across departments to provide hands-on instruction and support, ensuring they excel in their roles and contribute to Atlas Energy Solutions’ high standards of quality and performance. This position will require frequent travel to various locations to continue training and offer on-site support. Responsibilities: Oversee the initial and continuous training for employees across all operational sectors, including fabrication, production, engine rebuild, repair shop, and field service. Develop and implement comprehensive training programs covering technical skills, product knowledge, safety protocols, and customer service where applicable. Regularly collaborate with Director, Training & Standards, to evaluate and update training materials and methods based on industry trends, technological advancements, and feedback from employees and supervisors. Partner with supervisors and managers across departments to assess training effectiveness, identify skill gaps, and implement targeted improvements. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning among employees, encouraging collaboration and the exchange of expertise. Conduct on-site and hands-on training sessions within various operational areas to reinforce best practices and proper procedures. Maintain expertise in power generation systems, fabrication techniques, mechanical operations, and troubleshooting methods to provide accurate and effective training.
