What You'll Do.
training and coaching Infusion Nurses in their region on clinical topics
ensure ongoing competency proficiency
answer clinical questions from nurses in the Region
ensure patients receive the highest level of care possible in infusion therapy by ensuring clinical staff are trained and re-trained appropriately
Serve as initial point of contact for clinical questions in Region
Identify additional training needs across the Region and pilot new initiatives
Train new Infusion Nurse hires on-site
Provide clinical care
Complete regional clinical competencies (annually)
Provide regional oversight of clinical quality metrics and ensuring clinical compliance

THE ROLE The Regional Nursing Lead will contribute to the company’s quality and growth by training and coaching Infusion Nurses in their region on clinical topics. This role will also ensure ongoing competency proficiency and answer clinical questions from nurses in the Region. The Regional Nursing Lead will make sure our patients receive the highest level of care possible in infusion therapy by ensuring clinical staff are trained and re-trained appropriately. Location: hybrid - 30% - 50% travel to centers for training and coaching with occasional floating to centers in need of support (administering IV infusions). KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Drive ongoing clinical effectiveness through competency validation, clinical quality measurement and auditing, coaching, and feedback - Serve as initial point of contact for clinical questions in Region - Identify additional training needs across the Region and pilot new initiatives - Train new Infusion Nurse hires on-site, as necessary
