What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Work flexible schedule/shift/work area, Experience in employee and performance management, Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, operations, logistics, supply chain or engineering, Experience in operational logistics/supply chain, manufacturing, transportation, general management or an engineering role, Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders, Experience developing operational metrics, Demonstrated experience managing multiple carriers or suppliers simultaneously, Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
Nice to Have
Master's degree or above in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing, Knowledge of process improvement, ideally including Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma, Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python, Experience with an e-commerce company, Experience in Transportation Law
What You'll Do.
Lead regional linehaul operations cross-functionally
Manage performance of multiple carriers
Ensure achievement of OTP and OTA targets
Conduct daily and weekly operational reviews
Lead calls with operational teams
Develop action plans for continuous improvement
Perform on-road monitoring
Identify process gaps
Implement corrective actions
Communicate daily metrics
Report exceptions to other operational departments
Coordinate onboarding of new carriers
Coordinate training of new carriers
Coordinate ramp-up of new carriers
Support on-site audits
Implement Amazon Excellence Program
Scale Amazon Excellence Program
Develop strategic relationships with carriers
Serve as primary point of contact for performance
Serve as primary point of contact for problem
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Identify optimization opportunities
Implement solutions to improve operational efficiency
Contribute to cost reduction initiatives
Identify regional optimization opportunities
Support regional implementation of network optimization
Support regional implementation of routing efficiency initiatives
Collaborate with central operations
Represent regional operations in business reviews
Act as bridge between central strategy and regional
Serve as voice of carriers within regional operations
