Must Have
Bachelor degree in environmental science, chemical or environmental engineering, or related field, 7+ years serving as an environmental technical resource, compliance specialist, or program manager, Knowledge of environmental regulations, Applied knowledge of local, national and European environmental laws and standards, Proven experience with regulatory assessments, permit preparation and compliance management, Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, Ability to work under pressure and handle regulatory deadlines, Organizational and time management skills, Experience in environmental reporting and documentation, Ability to conduct environmental investigations and develop corrective actions, Communication skills in German and English, Ability to collaborate with various departments and external stakeholders, Experience working with contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies
Nice to Have
Master's degree or equivalent in environmental field, Experience in data center or industrial facility environmental management, Knowledge of environmental management systems (ISO 14001), Experience with environmental impact assessments, Familiarity with sustainability reporting and metrics, Knowledge of waste management and circular economy principles, Experience with environmental auditing and compliance verification, Understanding of climate change regulations and carbon reporting
