In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality outcomes, supporting day-to-day operations, and contributing to a positive and collaborative working environment. You’ll thrive on variety, take ownership of your work, and bring energy and ideas to the team. You will ensure the implementation of preventative and corrective maintenance tasks and improvements across the Midlands Region, and provide solutions to reduce costs and improve plant efficiencies. Key responsibilities of a Regional Engineer: * Ownership of specific jobs/projects through to successful completion * Perform fault diagnosis leading to resolution of random failures on production machinery, identifying root cause in repair process * Carrying out planned maintenance tasks as part of a preventative maintenance strategy * Complete risk assessments/method statements to ensure safe running of all factory equipment and processes * Identify and report all stock /spares issues * Liaise with production on plant outages to ensure minimum downtime of production equipment * Prioritise own work load with consideration to output, product quality and line efficiency * Proactive approach to identify improvements to increase line and machinery efficiencies * Complete all line checks and documentation as required * To assist in the training and development of new starters * To act as a role model for best practice * Monitor, control and minimise waste * Play an active part in continuous improvement * To participate in the company’s PDP program * To act as specialist for machiner
