Must Have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, Four years of related experience in education, workforce development, social work or student support services, Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications, verbal and written communication skills, Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with stakeholders, Demonstrated experience working with varied populations and addressing barriers to academic and career success, Relationship-driven with a student-centered approach and empathetic mindset
Nice to Have
Training or professional experience in social work, case management, strength-based coaching, crisis intervention, Proven experience in promoting access to students, Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals across varied educational, socioeconomic, and geographic contexts, Experience in K–12 or higher education settings, particularly in educator preparation or apprenticeship programs, Familiarity with Department of Labor standards and grant compliance, Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
What You'll Do.
Lead a collaborative initiative supporting instructional aides in their journey to become certified teachers
Coordinate efforts across school districts
and community colleges to design and implement a seamless educator pathway program
Facilitate monthly cohort meetings
Provide individualized student support
Ensure alignment with Department of Labor apprenticeship standards and grant requirements
Champion student success
Foster partnerships with educational stakeholders
Support teacher preparation
Design and Lead Monthly Cohort Meetings
Develop agendas and activities that align with the goals and needs of the cohort
Facilitate engaging and supportive cohort sessions focused on academic progress
workplace application
and professional growth
Provide cohort meeting dates and locations to LEA in a timely manner for coverage planning purposes
Collaborate with School and District Partners
Coordinate with the ISD and school leadership to identify on-the-job real-time learning experiences aligned to program competencies
Maintain relationships with school partners to monitor cohort members’ progress and ensure that the district’s needs are met
Encourage partners to “think outside of the box” to support student success
Student Support and Advocacy
Serve as an advocate for student success
removing barriers and elevating student voices to program leadership and school partners
Provide individualized guidance on navigating workplace challenges

Resource Connection and Student Empowerment
Connect students with IHE and community resources to support with completion and retention

Accurately track participation hours
Assist with data collection and compliance documentation to maintain funding eligibility and program integrity
