What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or IT, Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, Specific focus on smart building technologies, BMS integration, or facility IT operations, Demonstrated proficiency in the BOS technology stack, Working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC, and Lighting Control Systems, Ability to work with database concepts and visualization tools, Proven experience managing technical projects, Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles as they apply to Operational Technology (OT) and IoT networks
Nice to Have
At least 3 years in a specialized BOS, BMS, or Smart Building role, Deep understanding of IoT ecosystems, cloud integration, and BOS platform technology stacks, Technical grasp of BMS, HVAC, Lighting (LMS), and Fire Alarm Systems, Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and network protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and KNX, Experience with data mapping, database management (SQL is a plus), and visualization tools like Power BI, Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects, coordinate with OEMs/vendors, and oversee system handovers, Advanced literacy in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or MS Office, Ability to create high-quality technical presentations
