Eligibility Requirements

Ability to work a flexible schedule, supporting all shifts/OT, as necessary, to support business needs., Training will start on day shift and will potentially last several months., Able to climb ladders, stairs, and work in small, restricted spaces., Lift and carry up to 50 lbs., Must be able to gain U. S. Space force DBIDS access credentials., Potential travel: Up to 10% for training and related activities (where applicable), U. S. citizen or national, U. S. permanent resident (i. e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U. S. as a refugee or granted asylum., Blue’s Standard Background Check, Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background check if at any time the role requires one to be on a military installation, Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10, 001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training., Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics., Ability to read, understand, and use technical manuals and detailed work instructions., Experience and comfortability working in both research and flight environments., Knowledge and experience with personal protective equipment, Knowledge in the proper use of different types of aerospace fittings and seals, Mechanical aptitude and ability to utilize hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment., Use of precision measuring instruments and attention to detail, Familiarity with hydrostatic, hydraulic, and pneumatic testing, Experience with threaded insert installation and thread tapping tools., Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as be a self-starter., Able to climb ladders, stairs, and work in small, restricted spaces., Lift and carry up to 50 lbs., Familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Must be able to gain U. S. Space force DBIDS access credentials.

Nice to Have

A&P license or equivalent experience in integration and test of flight systems and structures, Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardware., Experience with 3-D Measurement Tools, such as Faro Arms, Trackers and Verisurf software, Working knowledge of a variety of rocket propellants, including Hydrogen Peroxide, RP, and cryogenics, Familiarity with tube fabrication (bend, flare, fittings, etc) and pressurized system safety, Knowledge in the use of 3-D CAD tools (ProEngineer) is preferred.
