Electrical, mechanical, or mechanic disciplines, Refrigeration (EPA Universal Card), Basic understanding of PLC Controls, Familiarity and use of test equipment, Familiarity and use of hand tools, Independent troubleshooting of complex mechanical and refrigeration systems, Plumbing, braising and soldering skills, Knowledge of local building codes, Ability to read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics, Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills, Good communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment, Computer skills (i. e. Microsoft Office), Degree or Certificate from approved two-year college or technical school, Five years related experience, Previous experience as a refrigeration technician, Refrigeration certification, EPA 608 and OSHA 10, Satisfactory completion of additional background screening, Able to independently coordinate/perform the installation of complex, structural capital equipment, Able to assemble complex, often large, mechanical assemblies, Capability to access confined spaces, Fine motor skills for handling tools and equipment, Hand-eye coordination for tasks such as operating controls and using diagnostic equipment, Able to perform manufacturing processes such as brazing, welding, etc, Independently able to decipher electrical, mechanical, and process flow schematics, Able to read instrumentation and gauges for measurement purposes, Able to lift up to 50 lbs, Endurance to stand, walk, and work for extended periods, Balance and coordination are crucial to prevent falls, Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities, Must be able to work multiple/varying shifts
