The incumbent acts as a resource regarding referrals and insurance plan guidelines. This role requires the ability to interpret medical guidelines, benefits, policies and procedures in order to ensure the efficient operations of patient health care services. **Responsibilities** * You will expedite administrative requirements and logistics * You will serve as a resource on referrals and insurance plan guidelines * You will apply discretion, good judgment, and professional communication to all work experiences * You will regularly utilize independent decision-making capacities and strong interpersonal skills **Requirements** * High school graduate or equivalent preferred * Two (2) years experience working in a medical setting or insurance company * Experience in managed care desired * Experience with CPT and ICD-9 coding, preferred **About Good Samaritan Hospital** MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hub serving Puyallup and East Pierce County.
