Comfortability with handling biological specimens, Ability to accurately identify specimens, rotating holidays/weekends, overtime as needed

Must Have

High School Diploma or GED equivalent, Basic computer and data entry skills, communication written and verbal, Ability to work independently or within a team environment, Well organized and a high level of attention to detail, Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Nice to Have

Current or prior Labcorp experience, 1 year or more of experience in a medical / clinical laboratory experience

What You'll Do.

Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis

troubleshoot and resolve customer problems

Send test requests to proper location

Assist clients with specimen requests

Process specimens to be sent out

Provide support to laboratory areas

Perform sample sorting

racking and retrieving

Maintain a clean and safe work environment
