What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of 2–5 years of credit analysis and collection experience, Dynamic commercial credit and risk assessment experience, Fluent and articulate English communication skills, Extraordinary skills in financial statement analysis, evaluation of credit dynamics, experience with risk mitigation instruments and documentation, Bachelor’s degree required
Nice to Have
credit certification strongly preferred, SAP knowledge, Familiarity with credit insurance, utilization of credit scorecards, Collections escalation management experience
What You'll Do.
credit risk management of an assigned portfolio of customer accounts
credit risk assessment
providing strategic credit options to hedge risk and maximize sales growth
commercially sound credit decisions
Directly lead a select number of accounts within the U. S. and Canada portfolio
Analyze customer financial statements and assess the creditworthiness of corporate customers
Conduct thorough due diligence
including customer interaction
onboarding of new customers
and continuous monitoring of existing accounts
Assess credit limit requirements and recommend new limits or changes
Prepare comprehensive quarterly/annual customer-level credit reviews
Ensure timely review and controlled release of credit-blocked orders
Collaborate closely with AR collections team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and manage direct customer collection efforts when escalation is required
Maintain customer and credit master data within our systems
process new customer credit applications
Manage customer sales tax exemption records
complete anti-money laundering (AML) and fraud screening procedures
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborate closely with AR collections team; underwrite credit recommendations for Senior Management in North America
Communication Scope
Fluent and articulate English communication skills; ability to clearly underwrite credit recommendations
