What They're Looking For.
Must Have
4 Plus years of Experience, Previous accounting, analysis and reporting experience, SAP knowledge/experience, Excel (Moderate to Advanced skill level), Powerpoint (Moderate to Advanced skill level), English, Understanding of Commercial Investment (CI) concepts in an Australian business environment, including dealer rebates, incentives and promotional funding, Understanding of management accounting concepts, including Actuals vs Forecast (FCT) vs Budget (BGT), Understanding of forecasting, budgeting and management reporting processes, data maintenance discipline across reporting files, Ability to work with financial data in systems such as SAP, BIPS, KIPS and CIA Tool, Commercial Investment activity and claim update, preparation of CI reports, Preparation and analysis of monthly management reporting and forecasts, Category wise budget preparation and analytical review, Ad-hoc financial and commercial analysis for senior management, Responding to complex queries from head office and internal/external stakeholders, Handling data in various local & regional systems such as BIPS, KIPS, CIA tool, SAP, Voice calling, Account reconciliation, Dispute Management, Dr and Cr clarity, Basic accounting knowledge, communication skills to understand stakeholder expectations and requirements, Solution-oriented mindset focused on resolving problems, not just completing tasks, Ability to maintain effective working relationships with onshore stakeholders and internal teams, Proactive communication of issues, progress and outcomes, High level of attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, prioritisation skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, Commercial awareness to understand the importance and impact of each task, Curiosity to understand the detail behind the numbers and the story they tell, one-team mindset, working towards shared goals, Open and flexible approach to changing scope, priorities and business needs, Willingness to support team members as workload and requirements evolve, Strong excel knowledge and system acumen, Ability to work autonomously, Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, Ability to work under pressure, time management skills, Accounting and technical skills necessary, Ability to communicate clearly in plain language tailored to the stakeholder’s perspective, Ensures stakeholders understand the message, context and implications, Confident verbal and written communication skills, especially when explaining financial or CI topics
