Full Job Description

This position is based out of the Gulf Coast area in the RESEA department. TWC is not considering applications from individuals who require sponsorship for an employment visa, including those with H1B visas or those currently on student or postgraduate visas. You must be a Texas resident to work for the Texas Workforce Commission or willing to relocate to Texas. WHO YOU ARE: A collaborative engaged professional that will partner with the TWC workforce team and service providers to uplift Texans. You are a senior technical analyst with research skills. You have great communication and organization skills and seeks to become a reemployment services subject matter expert. WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Reemployment Coordinator (Program Specialist IV) performs highly complex (senior-level) consultative services and technical assistance work. Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO: -Serve as the local RESEA resource to Board staff and service providers on service delivery, outreach, and training. -Become a subject matter expert on local labor market, local community support services and the RESEA program. -Conduct touchpoints with RESEA customers utilizing professional etiquette and demeanor to validate compliance with individual reemployment plans and other RESEA requirements. -Conduct research, program assessment, preliminary investigations and prepares reports. -Support and presents at RESEA conferences and conducts classroom training and webinars. -Assist in developing program policies, procedures, standards, and manuals.
