What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree, Two years of experience in administration, admissions, recruiting, or closely related experience as a higher education or similar professional (for Coordinator I), Bachelor's Degree, Four years of experience in administration, admissions, recruiting, or closely related experience as a higher education or similar professional (for Coordinator II)

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree in social sciences, business, humanities, student affairs, education, or related field, Experience in recruiting, admissions, sales and/or marketing, and/or event planning, Demonstrated understanding of how to plan and execute effective marketing and social media posts that drive engagement and align with program goals, Advanced proficiency in Excel, Experience managing multiple projects with varying deadlines while simultaneously needing to adjust priorities, Experience working with graduate or undergraduate students of varied backgrounds, State of Texas class “C” vehicle operator license, Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others, Experience using Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc., Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Experience creating communication plans to promote a new product/program, Ability to work independently and as a part of a team, Exceptional skills of emotional intelligence, conflict management, communication, organization, initiative, customer service, and detail-oriented

What You'll Do.

Recruiting Bahr Engineering MBA prospective students

Coordinating recruiting and admissions efforts

Ensuring programming and messaging are consistent with the mission of Mays Business School and the Bahr Engineering MBA program

Directing prospective students to the correct contact for their needs and questions

Coordinating program communications including prospect messaging

and university wide communication

Coordinating and executing virtual and in-person recruiting events

Maintaining databases of prospective students

Conducting outreach and various campaigns to drive top-of-funnel traffic

Maintaining relationships with stakeholders from the College of Engineering

Managing social media platforms

Creating communication plans to promote the Bahr Engineering MBA program

Executing marketing and social media content

Planning and executing recruiting events such as information sessions

admitted student events

and networking events

Meeting with prospective students individually to promote the Bahr Engineering MBA and aid them in completing their applications

Responding to inquiries regarding program offerings and student financial aid options

Reviewing and evaluating Bahr Engineering MBA candidates and making recommendations

Compiling program statistics

Participating in Admission Committee meetings

Providing administrative support for specialized activities and projects

Managing scheduling and confirmation of applicant interviews

Managing interview calendars for multiple administrators and office needs

Assisting with general office management activities

including supply and equipment upkeep

and evaluating the work of student workers

Assisting with handling incoming office calls and front desk coverage

Performing other duties as assigned

Assisting with other MBA Program recruiting duties as needed
