What They're Looking For.
Must Have
0-2 years’ experience in Human Resources, Technical knowledge of Shipbuilding production roles, Must be self-directed, able to multi-task, and independently prioritize, Must have demonstrated ability utilizing multiple recruiting resources, including internet sourcing, social e-networking, job boards, targeted business groups, agencies, job fairs, publication advertising, etc., Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook, and Internet usage required, Must maintain a high level of confidentiality
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource or related field, Experience with Workday HRIS system, Working knowledge of AAP, EEO and OFCCP guidelines as they pertain to government contracting
What You'll Do.
Organize & support recruitment efforts
Develop and maintain working relationships
Work closely with Hiring Managers
Regular follow up with Hiring Managers
Develop and implement search strategies
Review applications submitted
Provide instruction on Recruitment Processes
Administer the required testing processes
Presentation of pre-screened candidates
Develop customized pre-screening questions
Coordinate interview schedules
Initiate the onboarding process
Initiate the promotion/transfer process
Provide timely application status feedback
Assure internal promotions occur
Maintain all pertinent applicant data
Maintain current knowledge of supply and demand trends
Actively participate in staffing activities
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Develop and maintain working relationships and partner with Hiring Managers; Work closely with Hiring Managers; Collaborate with interview team to gather and share feedback; Participate in final hiring decisions; Engage in cross functional projects
