**Job Description:** # Central State Hospital is seeking a full-time Recovery Services Specialist to join the Recovery Services team! This position will primarily work M-F, 8am-4:30pm but will rotate some evening and weekend hours. **_Job Details_** * Plans, schedules and conducts psychoeducational classes on recovery as assigned (e. g., medication side effects, ADL, communication skills, stress management strategies). * Provides therapeutic support within the units and Recovery Center. * Teaches and models healthy behaviors, consistent with the treatment/care goals of recovery. * Contributes to safe and therapeutic environment by practicing verbal de-escalation and, as authorized, other behavior management techniques. * Completes and maintains service documentation according to mandated standards. * Communicates information relevant to care, treatment, and services, with other staff members. ​ * Assist with patient care duties and other activities as necessary. ### (The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job.
