What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Knowledge of banking/reconciliation/accounting procedures, Microsoft office suite of products, technologically independent
Nice to Have
University degree or College Diploma or any equivalent combination of qualifications and/or work experience, 2+ years of experience with an accounting or investigation role
What You'll Do.
Daily reconciliation of processes supporting various Client Groups
Identification of items requiring further investigation and resolution
Timely reconciliations
Reconciliations of designated processes under prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
Applying solid knowledge of the Product Operations
methods and systems to the reconciliations process
Ensuring true breaks are identified and investigation/reported within the agreed SLAs
Escalating items that represent a potential loss to the Bank immediately
Ensuring daily/monthly data feeds are received on time
Conducting follow up for missing/incorrect information
Raising IT incidents tickets
Assisting with administrative duties such as sorting mail
email and swift message queues
Applying knowledge of the product supported and processes
Assuming project work outside of the general reconciliation process
Identifying departmental system or process changes to streamline and/or improve the reconciliation process and efficiency
