Must Have
computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Professional telephone manner and customer service focus, organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively, Discretion and confidentiality handling sensitive information, Proactive and self-motivated with attention to detail, Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role
Nice to Have
Experience working within a secure or defence-related environment, Familiarity with ERP systems such as IFS
What You'll Do.
Welcome visitors and ensure all sign-in and security procedures are followed
Answer and manage incoming phone calls
directing them appropriately and taking accurate messages
Present health and safety induction videos as required for site visitors
Handle daily correspondence
and preparing documents
Maintain and update records using Microsoft Office and ERP (IFS) systems
Process travel requests and manage meeting catering arrangements
Order and manage office supplies to ensure consistent availability
Keep the reception area professional
and presentable at all times
Provide proactive administrative support to HR and other departments
Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency
Provide cover for the full-time receptionist during periods of absence or annual leave
