What You'll Achieve.
Maximising patient appointments; Minimising gaps in the schedule; Answer incoming calls within KPI targets; Conduct follow-up calls for recalls and cancellations within KPIs; Monitor and respond to the appointment mailbox within 4 working hours; Follow up outstanding gap payments (up to 30 days)

Max Term position until the 29th of January 2027, 40 hours a week (Mon-Fri)
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Professional presentation, customer service skills, Experience using appointment booking and accounts systems, High level of confidentiality, tact and professionalism, Knowledge of dental centre systems or similar environments
Nice to Have
Experience as a Dental Assistant, willingness to be cross-trained, Experience with D4W, Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Proficiency in Microsoft Word, First Aid qualification
What You'll Do.
prompt and accurate responses
Answer incoming calls within KPI targets
Deliver high-quality service
Maximise patient appointments
Minimise gaps in the schedule
reschedule and cancel appointments
Conduct follow-up calls for recalls
Process daily SMS confirmations
Confirm appointments by phone
Respond to appointment mailbox
Greet and arrive patients
Maintain a clean and tidy reception area
Collect medical history forms
Raise patient accounts
Process benefit claims
Ensure patients are correctly departed
Follow up outstanding gap payments
Record actions for gap payments
Assist with credit adjustments
Assist with benefit queries
Prepare attendance certificates
Liaise with other dental centres
Report any fraudulent behaviour

Work closely with the Practice Manager; Work closely with the Dentist in Charge; Contribute to a collaborative and efficient team environment
Communication Scope
Provide courteous, prompt and accurate responses to all enquiries; Answer incoming calls within KPI targets; Conduct follow-up calls for recalls and cancellations within KPIs; Confirm appointments by phone where required; Monitor and respond to the appointment mailbox within 4 working hours; Liaise with other dental centres as required
