Review employer contribution reports and member self payments by entering remittance details into Benefit Plan Administration System (BPAS) and prepare daily bank deposits
Assist Reception with directing incoming calls to the correct staff member in a professional and timely manner
Assist with general claims inquiry phone calls
Assist any “walk in” members in a courteous and professional manner
Answer members’ general inquiries and promptly direct to appropriate contacts for additional information
Process member enrollment cards and updates members personal policy information
Receive daily mail and distributes to appropriate staff members
Produce letters requested by members confirming benefit status
eligibility and dependent information
Prepare ad hoc reporting on request
Respond to enquiries from Union representatives
companies and members regarding eligibility
vacation pay and other issues
Request and distribute cheques from Accounting Department at month end
Request and distribute early Vacation Pay request

Full Job Description
We are hiring a Receptionist to join our BPA team in Toronto. This role is 100% in office. Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. located at 130 Toro Rd. North York. We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily operations and provide exceptional service to members, union representatives, and internal teams. This role is responsible for managing front-line inquiries, directing calls, assisting walk-in members, and handling administrative tasks such as processing member information, distributing mail, preparing correspondence, and supporting reporting.
