What You'll Do.
Supervise receiving department operations
Ensure receipt and disposition of merchandise
Compare receipts against purchase orders
Check for damaged products
Check for concealed shortages
Ensure policies and procedures are followed
Utilize business data

Supervise Receiving Clerk
Report issues to management
Communicate with Logistics
Coordinate delivery schedules
Complete department self-audit
Complete receiving documents
Complete daily reports
Secure receiving doors
Check in visitors and vendors
Inspect bags and briefcases
Assign truck door locations
Ensure drivers are outside trucks
Ensure full trailer loads are empty
Ensure safety equipment is in working condition
Ensure receiving entrance is alarmed
Ensure receiving doors are properly sealed
Ensure alarms are operational
Verify seal integrity of all trucks
Monitor distribution center loads
Secure high shrink merchandise
Remove high shrink merchandise from dock
Confirm DSD quantities
Process DSD correctly
Execute merchandise protection
Validate merchandise leaving back doors
Operate cardboard baler
Secure equipment when not in use
Maintain club policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Work in other departments as needed
