Safety Sensitive: Yes, Ability to function in a wide variety of environments to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments (i. e. , rain, heat, sun, cold)., Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move/maneuver up to 100 pounds., Ability to mount and dismount the truck multiple times every day while on route., Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds., Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions., The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. What You'll Do.

Safely operate a CDL truck on specified routes to collect solid waste.

Read route tablet and service each customer identified on the route or assigned by the dispatcher.

Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids

Perform a physically demanding job

loading and unloading

at times with no helpers.

Operate hydraulic hand controls to remove refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.

Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties assigned.

## ## **Sanitary Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is seeking a highly safe and motivated Rear load Garbage Route Driver****(CDL Required)****to join our team in Hermiston, OR.** ## ## **Working Schedule is Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm (Or until Route is Complete, usually 9-11 Hours Shifts) with Overtime Often.** ## ## **Starting wage is $30.50/HR** ## ## ** _Safety Sensitive: Yes_** ## ## **The route will be operating a Rear Load GarbageTruck.
