What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or other related discipline, Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.), Field experience in pre-construction BIM or Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and field operations in an industrial/ construction environment, Experience with scripting and node-based coding tools such as Dynamo and Grasshopper
Nice to Have
Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of Python scripting language, Experience as a solutions specialist in construction BIM/AEC environments, Experience with point cloud registration and processing using Leica Cyclone Register360 and Cyclone 3DR, Understanding of construction industry practices and processes, Experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, or Nvidia Omniverse, Experience in process simulation using platforms such as Siemens Tecnomatix

Perform clash detection
Extract features of physical facilities
Address spatial challenges
Lead coordination meetings
Mitigate installation errors and clashes
Recommend design changes
Optimize deployment timelines
Optimize construction costs
Classify point cloud data
Segment point cloud data
Build automated pipelines
Maintain automated pipelines
Produce trade-space studies
Produce quantitative feasibility models
Produce scalable automation pipelines
Produce parametric design tools
Develop deployment simulations
Validate installation sequences
Analyze material movement path
Identify spatial conflicts
Optimize 2D design workflows
Optimize 3D design workflows
Develop automated scripts
Develop net-new tools
Eliminate manual bottlenecks
Maintain organization of 2D documentation
Maintain management of 3D documentation
Develop standardized survey packages
Develop reusable templates
Enforce QA/QC procedures
Ensure consistency of deliverables
