What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Analyst (0-2 years) experience in credit research or analysis, Undergraduate degree with academic performance, credit, finance, economic, business, and technical skills, Advanced Excel skills are required, written and verbal communication skills, Ability to multi-task across analytical, administrative, and research activities in a meticulous and timely manner, commitment to performance and accuracy of work product, Collaborative individual with ability to work independently and work well with diverse groups in a market-paced environment

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Commercial Real Estate Finance Council underwriting standards, Internship experience in alternative investments to include real estate, infrastructure, or private equity, Experience with industry standard tools and data products such as Rockport, Blackrock Reporting System, or Alladin, SQL, Python skills are a plus, CFA designation or progress toward CFA

What You'll Do.

maintaining market coverage across all commercial real estate subsectors

conducting detailed security level analysis

Facilitate and prepare financial reporting

investment performance reports

and risk assessments on a periodic and ad hoc basis

Prepare covenant calculations

exit risk/stress analyses

and other analysis to facilitate credit review

Summary review of transaction documents from both a credit and a servicing perspective

Updates on initial underwriting when credit issues arise

Property specific research encompassing both the local and national market

Research special projects as tasked and defined by senior real estate investment professionals

Support internal stakeholders on pricing

Coordinate and manage Borrower credit requests on existing investments

including modifications and workouts

Prepare CML and CTL trade documentation for the Investment Grade Corporate Trading desk to formally enter into the system of record

Coordinate with and support GI Legal on counsel engagements to include transaction closing and transaction surveillance requirements

Attends Investment Committee meetings and maintains minutes and credit approvals

regular interaction with front office portfolio managers, operations, accounting, transaction sponsors, and third-party servicers; Collaborate with Client Service Support and front office portfolio managers to respond to client questions; work well with diverse groups
