Must Have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Experience in project management, Experience in real estate development, Experience in architecture/design, Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams, Partnering well with people at all levels, Demonstrated experience as a development manager or equivalent STO role, Managing complex multi-party development programmes from pre-transaction through delivery, Financial modelling and analytical skills, Experience with development cost plans, Experience with cost reports, Experience with NPC/TCO analysis, Experience with GMP/Fixed Price structures
Nice to Have
Speak, write, and read fluently in French, Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish, Speak, write, and read fluently in German, Speak, write, and read fluently in Italian, Proven success at delivering large-scale real estate developments across Europe, Experience with industrial real estate, Experience with land negotiations, Experience with Collateral Development Obligations (CDO), Experience with Critical Servicing Infrastructure (CSI), Familiarity with Build-to-Suit (BTS) development agreement structures, Familiarity with Hybrid development agreement structures, Knowledge of entitlement processes across multiple EMEA jurisdictions, Knowledge of permitting processes across multiple EMEA jurisdictions, Knowledge of AHJ engagement processes across multiple EMEA jurisdictions, MRICS or RICS professional qualification, Equivalent professional qualification
What You'll Do.
Determine appropriate development time
Determine appropriate cost provisions
Negotiate settlement for contractual arrangements
Consider specification proposals
Resolve compromises and conflicts for inclusion in contracts
Support team members on technical matters
Support team members on contractual matters
Act as Single Threaded Owner (STO) for developments
Develop Development Business Plan (DBP)
Maintain Development Business Plan (DBP)
Prepare Monthly Development Reports (MDR)
Manage internal stakeholder relationships
Manage external stakeholder relationships
Identify adverse time impacts
Mitigate adverse time impacts
Identify adverse cost impacts
Mitigate adverse cost impacts
Escalate with recommendations
Ensure delivery of development agreement terms
Ensure delivery of CDO Works commitments
Update leadership on development progress
Prepare Development Close-Out Report (DCOR)
Review outcomes against approved plan
Act on lessons learned
