What You'll Do.
Ensure routine maintenance and repairs are performed for contract facilities and their Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE)
Assist in the operation
and modifications of all critical environmental building systems including: mechanical
fire detection and suppression
temperature control systems
Maintain inventory of equipment and repairs to equipment
Oversee all aspects of reconstruction of office space and movement of people to ensure minimal hindrance to business operations
Responsible for successful day-to-day facilities operations
Assist customers with facilities issues
Interact with government agencies to ensure facilities are functioning properly
Report any malfunctions or lack of compliance and work requests to the appropriate Base Facilities Maintainer
Plan and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance with minimal disruption to work activities
Oversee other facility location personnel
Perform other duties as assigned

**Amentum is seeking a Facility Manager to support the Space Force Range contract.** As a Facility Manager you will work Facility issues primarily for the RCF building and assist the facility team on the Eastern Range. This position will oversee all facility issues across the range and provide daily oversight and interactions with building manager. This is a great opportunity to help evolve the range into the range of the future. **Key Responsibilities** * Ensure routine maintenance and repairs are performed for contract facilities and their Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE). This includes internal moves and minimal routine office construction * Assist in the operation, maintenance, and modifications of all critical environmental building systems including: mechanical, electrical, cabling, fire detection and suppression, life safety, lighting, temperature control systems * Maintain inventory of equipment and repairs to equipment * Oversee all aspects of reconstruction of office space and movement of people to ensure minimal hindrance to business operations * Responsible for successful day-to-day facilities operations * Coordinate with customers, contractors and movers during office moves * Assist customers with facilities issues * Interact with government agencies to ensure facilities are functioning properly. * Report any malfunctions or lack of compliance and work requests to the appropriate Base Facilities Maintainer * Maintain effective, timely and respectful communication and interaction with customers and support organizations * Plan and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance with minimal disruption to work activities * Work with FM to oversee other facility location personnel. * Perform other duties as assigned **Minimum Requirements:** * Associate's degree in a technical, business or engineering field, or equivalent combination of education and experience * Two (2) or more years’ experience in facilities maintenance * Strong communication sk
