Must Have
High School Graduate, Experience flying remote-controlled aircraft, Secret Clearance or ability to obtain, U. S. citizen, Obtain and maintain FAA Third-Class Medical Certificate
Nice to Have
Associate's degree or higher in UAS, aviation, or engineering-related field, Formal education in test and evaluation, 500 hours operating Group 1 and 2 UAS or equivalent-sized model aircraft, Two years RDT&E flight test experience, Familiarity with prototype autopilot systems, Familiarity with Ground Control Stations, Familiarity with UAS integration and modification, Past designation as FAA Commercial Pilot or Military Pilot/UAS Air Vehicle Pilot, Familiarity with operations from Webster Outlying Field, Familiarity with UAS operations in surrounding airspace, FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
What You'll Do.
line-of-sight flight operations
Control fixed-wing or small UAS from external vantage
Execute stable approaches
Operate Group 1-2 UAS and/or RC equivalent aircraft
Execute ground launch and recovery activities
Support equipment setup
Perform post-flight safing actions
Operate remote-controlled aircraft
Meet daily test objectives
Provide project officer duties
Operate various air vehicles
Provide instructor duties
Perform maintenance and repair
