Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride. ## **Your role at Baxter** Responsible for the raw material planning and purchasing activities needed to support the production of all finished goods for the manufacturing facility. The position maintains communication channels with suppliers, internal customers and the Purchasing Department, and is accountable for the coordination of raw material orders, inventory levels, expedite/prioritize release, safety stock positions, disposition of materials and identification of cost reduction initiatives. ## **What you 'll be doing** * Directly supports the procurement and disposition of raw materials in response to MRP and Manufacturing requirements. * Obtain materials in economic order quantities that improve value and minimize total cost (e.g. optimized inventory levels). * Assist in the annual standard costing process and provide price forecasts.
