Must Have
High school diploma or GED required, mechanical aptitude, ability to problem-solve, ability to make decisions, ability to use hand tools, handle and successfully complete basic railcar repairs and inspections, work safely and follow proper procedures, work in all types of weather conditions, Valid Driver’s License
Nice to Have
familiarity with AAR rules and regulations

Conduct all aspects of repair and maintenance on tank cars
Conduct railcar inspections to ensure compliance
Perform repairs as necessary
Ensure customer satisfaction of work
Ensure all necessary invoicing
work order information is complete
Maintain all certifications
